Lexmark X 792 Magenta Issue

I have a HEAVY Magenta Background Issue on Anything printed in Color. If it is a B/W Print it is Fine. Have replaced Magenta Drum/Toner Cartridge and no change.
Any Suggestions?

I have seen this caused by laser unit connection problems.

Easiest way to check is pull the mag. cartridge and put a small piece of paper or tape to cover the slot over the drum. Put the cartridge back in and make a color copy. You should have a blank area where the drum is blocked with no background. Then you no it is the laser unit.

Every time I have seen it resetting the ribbon cables at the laser unit and the system board has fixed the problem.
