Dont know if this has been posted before but it may help someone else.

Scan to email via office 365 would not work showing server connection error on bizhub c458 All settings were correct.

Customer had setup a new dedicated office365 account user name and password for the bizhub. This was the problem.

On first login office365 requires new users to change their password. Obviously this is only communicated back to the machine as Server connection error.

So we logged in to the office365 account, changed password and all now working.
