View Full Version : Bizhub 206 SMB scan error codes

Hey all, I have a Bizhub 206 that refuses to scan SMB. The folders are shared correctly however no combination of file path username/password works. It does print a TX report with an error code, however I cannot find the errors listed in any manual. The errors are 0104 and 0115 depending on how I've set the scan up. If any one has a list of what these errors are and can share it'd be much appreciated. Thanks.

is there a firewall stopping it. did you turn on file sharing in the network not just the file. also what os are you using.

Here is the list of error codes hope this helps to narrow down the problem. Sorry the list looks a bit confuing where ive copied and pasted it but if there is a space next to the code it belongs to the Corrective action above:confused:

Ask the network administrator if the network is operating normally.

Thankyou,

Woxner, it is server 2012, I trust the IT company that set up the share. They have existing bizhub c280's and 223's that I was able to configure and get to work.

Gaffers01, thankyou but the specific errors I am getting are not listed, I'm was hoping for something a bit more specific so I can narrow down the error to something specific. The c280 would say something like "login error" as well as give me an error code that I could look up for something more specific.

Instead of "0" the error codes are "E" in the service table above.
So 0104 is E104 and so on.
