Error message CE002....only with network cable in port.Cable good..network good...With out cable in port copier runs fine!!!Any tricks..?

If it communicated with the laptop then the problem is on the network. Did you check for a dupe like Synthohol suggests? =^..^=

I do not understand how this answers the question.

Did you check for a duplicate IP address on the network? Unplug the MFP from the network > connect your laptop to the network cable > ping the IP address > does anything answer back? > if yes, something else is using the same IP address.

If this is the case you can use a utility like Network Scanner to identify the MAC address and consequently the maker of the network device. If you have a lot of network devices on the network it still can be difficult to find the offending device. It's generally easier to change the IP address to an open/unused address at the MFP and at the print driver.

I did all those things...ordered a hard drive MFP board..some thing up with the copier!

I had a similar issue with a c353. Ended up being the hard drive. Replaced and all was good.
