Anyone else having problems with scan to email tx settings when using sonic SMTP information? Today only I have customers calling who have been using Sonic SMTP for scan to email just fine and now they are getting server connection error. Change the settings away from Sonic and scan to email works. Any information would be greatly appreciated!

might be helpful to indicate a model?
also check the account on a PC, it may be awaiting confirmation like google 2 step.

The settings have been working until today. The machine models are C220 and C364

if the smtp server has tighter security like google did there may be special firmware to help.
if you can ping the smtp server from the copier its likely not a connection issue, just a tighter protocol.
what is the exact scan error? you may have to turn error display on to see the true error code.

i saw a post that sonic blocks port 25. what is your exact setup? screenshot?
