Hi all

I am about to setup user authentication for copier usage on a couple of C220's.

There are quite a few accounts to setup and wanted to create an excel file to take with me and simply upload it to save time manually entering on site.

I know of PageScope Admin but it won't allow me to create a file unless i am connected to the printers....

Is there a way i can import an excel file or csv file to upload once on site?

Thanks

If you install the PS data admin at the customers site you can import a csv file.

Thank you

Would I be able to export a CSV file so that I can get the correct layout for the CSV file itself question

It's pretty simple, arrange your columns with

ACCOUNT NAME|ACCOUNT NUMBER, or AUTHENTICATION NAME|PASSWORD

Make sure you keep 1st, last name in same column as PSDA only lets you pick name.

When you run the import wizard you simply designate which column is the name, and which column is the account track or password.

Account Track or User Authentication must be enabled on the device before you can import this file. Emujo

Success!

Is there a way to report in PageScope on user printing so it can be exported to excel?

Yes you can do that. There should be a option to export on the interface when you are logged in as administrator.

You can use data administrator for this also. In the user authenications settings select file > export > "save the user list in the tab text format"
