I'm looking to see if any one knows if the image units in the kyocera km c2230 are compatible with the ones for a konica bizhub c350 or are they chipped differently.

I have someone that found one of these in a building they bought and want to use it. I got it running but all the image units are flagging for replacement. I'm not finding the kyocera image units from any suppliers I trust but I can find the konica ones.

The kyocera C 2230 is a re-branded KM C350, most of the parts interchange. I just don't know about the drums. It even uses KM diagnostic mode.

Yes, the IU assemblies are the same, but you need to swap out the small circuit board on the front of the unit. Search 'Kyocera KM-C2230' on ebay and you will find them (I bought a few sets, they worked fine). Two screws, exchange the chip board, and you will be good to go.
