Hi. Had power problems on a MX3560, showing please wait ect.
Replaced mSATA SSD card on the MFP PWB.
Now getting a double image on the print out as attached on simulation 65,04.
Only on the colours not black.
Have tried simulation code 50, 20 to try adjusting but just moves both lines.

Got another MX3060 showing E7-90 & E7-80 faults.
Is it me or are these new machines prone to PWB problems?
We have three out in the field and all three showing faults.
Firmware is the latest version.
Any ideas? Thanks

These new matchines have the MFP and the Scanner Control boards combined into one. I have seen several "interesting" issues with this board.
A few tings to check:
-the MFPC board has two sets of error indicating LEDs, 4 lights in each set. Under normal conditions, both sets will have 4 solid lights. Anything else will indicate a problem with the mSATA or the MFPC pwb itself.
-the latest firmware is V6 and addresses several critical issues.
-you can extract and rewrite the data (mSATA, HDD, eeprom) using SIM 56 functions.

-for color issue, run SIM 50-28, OC adj and BK Mag, then run SIM 50-22 to line up your color layers.

Thanks, will try. since last post have had another MX3560 failure after a power cut.
Machine would not boot. Had to change mSATA SSD pwb.
Sharp have changed part number so probably have issues.
Will keep posted.
