Not sure what you mean with y-soft cards. You can buy varoius types of IC cards and keytags from YSoft.

Well ive had few customers with HID cards
If the old copier had a y soft reader and the new copier has a AU205 and i transfer accounts with data administrator even though it takes everytging it seems y-soft reads tge card data different.
This means re rego all card data is nessary.

Never heard of tgis utility and was kinda hoping it was to modify the card reader and maybe allow me to tweak the au205 to read like tge y-soft did and save me needing to redo all tge card associations

So I'm still looking. Been around the entire internet and still haven't found the tool. Also contacted ysoft a couple of days ago but no reply yet. Of anyone still got this tool please help me out. I've ordered a replacement unit for the printer, maybe the software is included when it arrives so that I can salvage the old unit :)

just downloaded that tool and while it attempts to connect the card reader beeps but doesn't connect to be able to make changes to the config.

you might have to change a "bit" in the reader config to match the mfg?
dunno which, i had to do it once a while back.

doesn't seem that easy, no options in the pcproxconfig.exe to change to select a broader scope of devices.

if anyone has the old usbrdrtool.exe it seems like it would be the simplest but hasn't been easy to find on google, this forum was the closest i could find so far.

just ASKING in open forum is not the best way to get it.

This is software that is usually used in large companies. It allows the customer to monitor print traffic, costs, limit prints and much more. It also intensifies the protection of privacy and avoids printing unnecessary documents that are abandoned in the printer. Basically a print server. In fact, you can configure it in a thousand different ways.
