Hi,
I am new at this forum, but I hope to get some help on a Konica Minolta, Bizhub Pro 1050e machine...

We are installing this machine and tried to find drivers for Windows 10, without any success. We got a recommendation to use a Bizhub Press 1250 driver, which seems to work, with one strange issue:

I set the original and paper size to SRA3 (450x320 mm, landscape) and the Adobe preview looks fine. But the machine did only print a A4-size print in the middle of the SRA3-sheet.

I noticed under Controller/Printer setting/Basic setting/14 Paper size that the printer was set to A4. I changed this to a bigger size, i.e. 12x18", and the printer now printed on a larger amount of the sheet, but it still didn't (obviously) use the whole sheet. But I can't set a custom size here (i.e. SRA3, 450x320) and there are no SRA3-option either. This setting seems to override the driver.

Shouldn't the driver override this setting and just put through according to the paper setting choosen in the driver and accordingly to the set paper size in the paper feeder cassettes? It seems that the driver can't do that.

So for a solution, I would like to find a true 1050e driver for Windows 10 or a workaround, to be able to set the machine to paper size 450x320.

Any thoughts and ideas on this?

With kind regards,
- Johan.

what tray are you printing out of?
LCT or by pass?

not 100% sure but i would check your settings, and driver settings.

12x18 always prints funny on those older b&W, i know with the 920/1050 (machines) max print size is 11x17 on a 12x18 sheets, you can sometimes get 11.25x17.25 with some wacky settings. Never got it to work the way it should.

make sure fit to page is selected.
the basic paper size you changed will now look for that size paper to print config pages, reports and other normal "on board" patterns.

I just got the error: "Can't save the driver to store" (or equivalent) when trying to install the w7 drive on w10...
