Hi,

Got a constant jamming issue on a fs-534 finisher ( tray 2 output).
The paper enters the eject /sorter unit and jams on 2nd page in sorter.
J72-22 is code recorded. Jams from all trays.
Tested all sensors and nothing obvious yet.

Any ideas?

I found this a few days ago searching for an answer to a different problem but may be relevant to your case. I assume this is an FS-534 finisher?

Thanks seen that post before. But don't think it's related to the problem. First page sits into the sorter unit, and then 2nd page stops as it enters the ejector unit

check the bridge unit guide part no. a3ep822100 guide/7 item 17
as I have had a lot of these wear, generally at the rear and
as the paper passes it can get delayed slightly thus bringing up a
paper jam message, you will need to look carefully ( the part of guide that wears
is the raised portion )as the wear doesn't have to be severe to cause trouble

hope that helps

I think it was a mixture of things. Paper in the lct wasn't flat, causing a skew. Also replaced the paddle assembly above the staple tray.
