Hello,

a bizhub C227 (Total Counter about 120 K) makes squeaking noises and the customer is threatening to return the device.
Our technicians have been there several times, but each time the noise did not occur. Different bearings were oiled but today the customer called again that the machine squeaks again.
KM-helpdesk Europe has unfortunately no solution.
Has anyone of you experience values for this squeak?

I think the 1st thing is to establish when it is happening, is it when using a certain tray, using the duplex, do they have an FNS, stapling, is it happening on a certain paperweight, I had a similar problem with a C308 recently, it was very intermittent, it was down to the bridging unit on the FNS, was a brand new instal, had to strip & lubricate it

There is a tech bulletin about squeaking from the fuser exit, basically telling you to clean the bearings/bushings and apply copper slip grease

thanks for your reply kingarthur,

the machine didn't have a FNS, only ADF and 2 paper-feed units.
Can you post the tech bulletin? In my tech-account I didn't found anything about this squeaking-problem.
