New to us Press C8000, we only experience this issue with 170gsm silk paper. (see picture 170gsm on right 350 gsm on the left)
On 300 and 350 gsm silk and other paper surfaces we don't get it at all

What we have tried:
Adjusting different voltages - No change
Printing 170gsm at 350 gsm setting - No change
Upping the fuser setting at the edges - No change

We get the defect in all colors, but most visible in black.
It is not consistent from sheet to sheet - moves around on one side of the sheet also seems to alter shape slightly.

Any ideas? 37152

you can try replace the fuser entrance sensor.
at least it happen to me on both c8000 machines.
Fuser pressure was not working properly.
In my case fuse entrance sensor actuator was broken.

Try reducing the fusing in the center(at print only) and set your paper as plain and give it a shot.
This machine has some issues with the first fusing in 130-170 gsm especially shown in blacks and halftones.
Let us know how it went, good luck!

It ended up being the main unit lower fusing belt/assy
Sure hope it holds up longer than the 450.000 imps it is rated at?
The price was 1500 USD!
