View Full Version : C224 to C364 Scan to email Error

Please forgive me if this come across as a stupid question

I'm new to Konica I've been working on them for 6 months now . We have 6 of our Konica machine ranging from c224 to c364 that will not scan to email using our smtp Client or 2 other smtp clients I've tried . they come up with network error 32 ( The pipe is broken ).

Its got the latest firmware , ive tried Reset of the NIC but still with the network error 32 . it doesnt matter with the email destination either, gmail, hotmail, outlook . Its probably simple but all the machines that have the problem seem to say SSL needs setup when trying to log in web browser as Admin . so i created a SSL certificate . still will not scan to email .

The Faster c454 work fine with scan to email but we no longer have any in the workshop to compare to .

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Is there any option like send directly.
This will bypass customers mail server & security and send directly, ( Sorry but this is what I do in Ricoh Reconditioned machines, which worked)
It mat work, & I hope all the best

Have you ever had these machines scan to work?

The C224 "non e" series doesn't support gmail with out the "version up" firmware upgrade you may want to try that.

Hi all

Thanks , it turned out it was on the 364 i needed to use port 25 not 2525 that i use on the 454 . also i had to turn SSL/TLS off as well . something small but totally different to all the other Konica's I've set up before .
