I have a J17-10 that as soon as I turn the copier on the jam code appears. There is no paper anywhere (adu/conveyance/exit) In service mode 47 code 23-3 (PS44 shows a constant H) I swap the upper and lower photosensors with the same result. I also replaced the ADU driver board - any suggestions?

Have you checked for continuity from the sensor connector to the ADU board?

Short on the wire.

this machine dumps toner and developer!!! not all but alot of them.. u must take adu apart and clean the sensors which are giving u the high, i've never seen a short or pinched wire before, but there is always a first!! was the machines adu serviced while on? make sure dip sw 3-1 not on! its the latch for lock ups
