3920 Evelopes rubbing off

I've run into the second printer of this model where apparently envelopes have run great for years but now decide to start rubbing off.

After exhausting all resources on the first machine we upgraded the printer but now I'd like to take a new stab at it.

Envelope tabs engaged, tried all combinations of paper type and weight. Replaced fuser. Tried different envelopes.

Any advice out there? Thanks in advance

I am wondering if anything pre-fusing could cause it, poor transfer? Wouldn't think so

They are using OEM toner

This may be out in left field but

Have you tried any envelopes other than the customer stock

load kx driver set pdl to pcl5
set bypass to envelope set print driver to same.

run plain envelopes does it fuse?

printer should slow down for envelopes

Kyocera sucks at running them

I will check out the driver settings. I didn't notice them run considerably slower but size AND type definitely set to envelope.

Appreciate the constructive thoughts over snide remarks due to boredom or to boost their post count.

not sure what a 3920 is ( brand ect ) but most times the application software will over ride machine settings.. please make sure in your Driver/File the proper settings are made.
