Here is a link to NASA's collection of pictures taken by the Opportunity rover (https://mars.nasa.gov/mer/gallery/all/opportunity.html) (not the newer space based nuclear powered laser rover (http://mars.nasa.gov/msl)).
The Spirit and Opportunity rovers were only planned to be 90 day missions, starting in 2004. Spirit is done, but Opportunity keeps moving along.
This is probably old news, but Mars is the only planet we know of that is obviously if not entirely inhabited by robots.

These images of the martian tubes were first captured by the Viking probes launched in the lat 70's, and have been photographed by other probes since then. These are nasa images. In the close up it looks like a manufactured construct to me. Nasa says it's sand dunes. Horse pucky. Great thread, Iowa. I love this stuff.

Scientists concur that liquid water existed in abundance at some time in the past on Mars. Looks like it still might have a little of the stuff.

This image of a lake and possible vegetation growth was taken by the orbiter camera (MOC) onboard the Mars Global Surveyor satellite. This image came from the USGS, and is verifiable on their website. There are MANY images like this, and you will not see them on the nightly news. As a matter of fact, you probably won't even hear about them. You, WE are being lied to and it pisses me off. 3911839119

Yeah, that might be the case. But I'd guess it's more likely that the robots just don't know how to provide the proper context to those pictures, so we really don't know. I guess we will just have to go to Mars and take a look for ourselves to be sure.
Keep an eye on the BFR!
