Looking for reliable c220 and c224e series dev & drum reset device

Anyone tried the reset switch/harness/device found on e-bay or elsewhere? We refurb & sell these machines so I don't just want to use life optimization or dip sw settings. I want to replace developer after it goes bad with aftermarket dv which has been working well so far, but we use too many reset chips. We also use new drums, blades & chargers to r/b the drum units, and they work good as OEM. Again, just burning through too many chips.
I've googled & searched but not finding any strong tech endorsement of these devices. There's a pic of one from ktn with a part #, but I guess they disc. the item bc the ktn part# comes up invalid.
Really would like to find one that does c220 & c224e series, drum & dev.

When new developer is installed (aftermarket, with old dv unit) it needs to be calibrated and reset. Same with rebuilt drums. We aren't just ignoring or resetting units that are past life.

This unique M RESET C224 Device enables Technicians to reset Developer Units without changing existing TCR sensors. This device has unlimited number resets and can be used as an onsite tool or in a workshop based .
Using:

I started to reverse engineer the chip function some time ago, it's a simple circuit of (iirc) two resistors and a fuse wich blows during initialization leading to different "before+after" ohm values. So you basicly can recreate this with a little knowledge. I never finished that because we get the drum chips cheap as fuck and convert BK DV units for COL wich doesn't require the more expensive DV chips anymore.

I don't know the price of Zorans device but if it's targeted around 100€ I think it's not worth the time to built your own resetter unless you find it entertaining beeing McGyver (wich I find amusing sometimes).

I buy drum chips for less than a Euro and developing units for Euro 2.50. So no need to twiddle on site with reset equipment. I do not like to explain to a customer breathing in my neck what I am doing with his new installed parts. Internet informs them very well nowadays.

All units, drums as well as developing units leaving our shop are rebuilt and the necessary chips are already installed from the beginning. On site, we never reset anything.

I do the same as Hans. All units rebuilt in shop with new chips. Plus no chance of shorting out machine with connecting wires, etc.

The resetter was good years ago when chips weren't available or inconsistent.
