Hi

Any advice for this error? All time zone settings, machine settings (dns etc) all correct. I've just updated the firmware to no avail, driving me insane. Even tried gmail settings in there still the same error ?

Try and initialize the network settings.

Turn on the network error code display so you can narrow the problem down a bit.
There is a bulletin concerning email scanning in an SSL environment. It requires two firmware updates and a softswitch change.

non "e" machines cannot use gmail without 2 versions of FW and bitswitch changes. but even that may have consequences in other areas.
great point for upgrading the machine to something supported and not discontinued.
