Hi,

It was something Konica exchanged for you by sending the old one back. Then it was new firmware that seemed to cure the problems.

There is no number for the 8 series emmc board. We still have to go through a return process for them at present, even direct service have to.
The 284e series ssd boards were eventually released as a part, I guess as a result of the high number of failures/downtime they caused.
Although I have had to replace a couple of 8 series emmc boards, they are nowhere near as bad.
Also I would check that number as it might just be UK or Europe only.
Best of luck......

why dont replace with a generic ssd with same storage capacity? been using retail hard drives for replacement on all other versions. format them and ready to go. the thing that they ship the hdds with special firmware in it is bullshit.
