Hi, I can't enter Service Mode by using the default "9272" x 4 times. I need to reset maintenance counter.

I did it... i just forgot to write it on this thread. It doesn't work and i can't enter SP mode. Maybe someone else changed "9272" password

Contact KM they can provide a reset key. I have done this in the past

If your not gonna change password to something other than default i'd just turn of CE authentication. A customer can find both service mode access method and the default password in a 30 sec google search

sorry but I will write in English with google transistor because I'm not with the work colleague, I hope understands me. I think from experience that by calling KM they point me to the nearest service center and usually send a technician behind payment. They don't say technical informations.

Enter service mode from trouble reset mode this bypasses the password.

(hold down reset while powering on)

Agree try 12345678 or 00000000. I always turn off CE password. If I do want a password I change it to 12345678 same as admin.

Anyone who changes from one of these common passwords to a unique password is just screwing their fellow techs!

Although back before I started my own biz I would of liked to change all the passwords to screw a few of the A-Hole companies I worked for:cool:

Ask the reset code key to KM.

Hi, I tried but I was not able to talk to KM technical office maybe because I'm a private customer. Is the reset key different for each machine?

clearly you aren't a tech... you should have a tech do this since you can muck up the unit quickly.

Sure. You can ask the KM technical service to reset the machine. Reset key different for each machine depending on serial number.

If from trouble reset mode ----that does indeed bypass the password..........pretty good tip.

Some features get disabled if CE auth is off.
