The copies are coming out light (The machine sat for awhile) I went into system menu>common settings>function default>density... The setting is set to manual. When I curser up and hit ok the machine says "Cannot use this function" I have combed manuals and can't find the answer. Any help would be so appreciated...

Set "Color Selection" to black and white.
