Konica bizhub C35 Toner Issue

The black image unit needed to be replaced. It is in good shape so I just replaced the chip. Now machine is telling me that the black toner is missing. The image unit message is gone. Tried another toner but it did not work. Is there a reset to bypass the toner message? Thanks in advance.

It could have a mangled crum sensor. i think it's just small copper contacts

Fun with after market chips. Change the K drum chip again....
It does weird things on these machines.

Keep an eye on the stats page for the remaining life some times the life resets partially.

Still worth the struggle. The iu's can be reset up to 3 times.
