Hello I have a Kyocera Taskalfa 6550ci jam code 4211 I found that the exit unit motor stalls I replaced the motor same problem it spins until the paper hits it then stops. could it be a wiring harness or board?

could be a sensor

checked the sensors and narrowed it down to the exit motor I found that the exit unit motor stop when the paper hits it EVEN STARTS AT ALL I replaced the motor same problem it spins until the paper hits it then stops. could it be a wiring harness or board?

31 years in the industry has taught me NOTHING is impossible when it comes to equipment .

yes very possible it could be a harness or board. pinched wires can cause ALL SORTS of issues.

I just swapped the whole unit exit from another printer same issue I'm thinking its a board issue.

not knowing that unit.. i would say which ever board that assm plugs into...check your PtP in service manual
