I have a C308 which I had to replace the HDD. Physical format took about an hour however the logical has been stuck at 0% for an hour now. Anyone run Into any issues with logical formatting taking a long time?

If it was a new drive there was no need for a physical format only logical.
Make sure the HDD is still set to installed.
Since you don't have anything on the hdd you can always try a total system data clear, reboot make sure HDD is turned on and do a logical then.
If still a no see if the HDD is in state confirm hdd check

Yeah, I typically always do a physical then logical with new HDD. However the MFP keeps throwing g a C-D010 with both the new and old HDD. Self diagnosis had RD/RW as NG. It's hard to say that 2 HDD would cause the same issue. I'm begging to think my mfp board has an issue.

And I cant login to admin to do a logical there as the C code doesnt let me go into admin.

Unset the hdd and reboot.
May ask to format the ssd that's ok to do.
No address book or scanning but at least you can copy and print.
Then reboot and set back to installed and reboot.
Btw it takes a while before the installed or not installed actually takes effect and switches on the screen. This is normal. Just wait it will happen.
Reboot and see if all is well.
What is the actual code?
Also there is sat firmware version 4 that fixed issues like this if it's relitively new.
There is recovery firmware but I can't tell from here what ver you have.
Of you boot the machine holding down panel reset you can hit trouble reset then the code for service mode if you can't go in any other way and check the sat firmware version. I think it's on page 4?
Should be ver 4. If blank or a previous version let me know and we can go from there.

There is a KM bulletin for this C code, bulletin number 10072.

Make sure the machine's SATA Controller firmware ends in G00-04 or higher.

I am at Sata G00-04. I seem to getting a C-D010 now. With both the old and new HDD. I have the correct Sata FW so Its not taking the recovery FW. Flashed down to G00-R9, no luck. Getting the C-D010 with the HDD unset and disconnected. Figure at this point the board may be no good.

If the error has not been resolved by the previous steps, run the Self-diagnostic function to see if there are issues with the eMMC or MFP board.

Procedure (using SERVICE MODE menu)
1. Call the Service Mode to the screen.
2. Touch these keys in this order: [Service Mode] -> [State Confirmation] -> [Self-diagnostic] -> [Check All]
3. Press the Start key to start the check procedure.
4. When the check procedure is completed, the results are shown on the screen. If any of the check results are NG, take measures upon confirmation of the "Corruption details" and "Next action" (http://cscsupportftp.mykonicaminolta.com/media/bizhubC368_C308_Self-Diagnostic_Matrix.png).
Note: Press the Stop key to interrupt the check sequence.

Procedure (using main power switch)
1. Open the front door.
2. Turn the main power switch ON while pressing the power key. After a short beep sound is made once, release the power key and close the front door. Wait to display the self-diagnosis (full check) screen.
3. After displaying the self-diagnosis screen, press the start key. The self-diagnosis (full check) is started. The result of the diagnosis is displayed for every item (http://cscsupportftp.mykonicaminolta.com/media/bizhubC368_C308_Self-Diagnostic_Matrix.png). (OK/NG)
4. After finishing the diagnosis for all items, turn the main power switch OFF.
5. If there is an item displaying NG, investigate the NG item and take countermeasures.

After checking the results, if the code persists, the MFP board (MFPB) may need to be replaced.
Note: Reference the MFPB replacement procedure (http://cscsupportftp.mykonicaminolta.com/media/bizhubC368_C308_MFPB_Removal.png) for additional detail.
