1. Was it ever running and now giving you an issue?
2. Do you have the I-option enabled
3. What API version did you use to push the client
4. Do you have the SSL and protocols configured correctly
5. Have you verified the required papercut ports are open
6. Are any other MFPs connecting without issues
7. What errors are listed in papercut when you try and push the client?

Is it possible that some door has been blocked in the firewall?

How is a http 500 error related to smtp?? BTW, I think the browsers on the new 8 series are Safari...Not sure if this is in any way related..When you are getting these http 500 errors, are you able to connect to any internal or external web sites from the MFP? If all 10 are doing this and no errors are listed in PaperCut I might be leaning towards an internal network issue. You may have to do some packet capturing to see where the issue lies. There is a settings within the browser admin settings under security settings to "allow" some kind of SSL weakness, don't remember the exact usage, but you get a prompt on the panel whenever the browser tries to connect. There was also a problem with setting the SSL validity period to 3360, we are using 3350 on new SSL certificate creations. PaperCut is now at version 18.3.X, might be worth doing another update.
