Konica Minolta
Bizhub C6500
when printing it has a grey triangle that will shrink with each continuous print, but returns for each new print event.

does anyone know what causes this?

Have you replaced anything yet? Looks like the developer unit to me.

so i havent checked the cleaning blades.. i did swap the corona wire and scorotron things to see if the issue moved to a different color and it did not.
is there a way to check the blades without complete dissassembly?

We had something not too dissimilar to this on a c5501.
It was dev related, although what solved the issue in this case was changing the toner.
In the course of checking through items, removed the black toner bottle and noticed that the tabs on the cap had been trimmed off, presumably a bottle for another machine made to fit.
There was no telling what the bottle was, so put the correct toner in and neither machine nor operator did it again.
Your's on the other hand may not be so simple
