I have a bizhub 754e giving me a jam code in cassette 4. There was paper behind the 4th paper cassette, but it was removed and all the paper was retrieved. The machine is still saying there is a jam but gives no error code and it was trouble reset multiple times but the message still appears.

print out the error code sheet.... it might be logged there... sounds like you might have a sensor out of place or defective.

have you run sensor test in SM?
Page counts on replaceable parts?
Have you cleaned out the sensors?

Which sensor would you think it might be. I have examined the paper feed unit, but I don't see anything out of place. How would I print the error code sheet on this machine?

might have blown paper feed board. this happened on earlier series

Try checking the connector on the back of the tray, sometimes paper will get stuffed inside the connector and cause this.

I know your code is for tray 4 but check the reg roller auxiliary guide. There's a reflective mirror in the center just below the cleaning pad. It should be cleaned every call however, paper dust gets on in and it will show a jam after trouble resets and looking everywhere else.

There was no code given just a jam indication warning

Update...Problem fixed. It was the connector. Reseated & problem solved! Thanks for everyone's help. Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving & Merry Christmas.
