Customer reports flickering main menu items (https://im2.ezgif.com/tmp/ezgif-2-9085bb9362ca.gif)

Items are not visible 90% of time and blink on for half a second

If your quick you can select a item

If your not it gives internal error.

I checked both ends of white cable

Machine model is C224e

Also not sure if related but Network point is confirmed dead even after network setting initialised and firmware updated (only things i could think may help).

Work mate suggests bad firmware so I will try tomorrow

Your link does not seem to work.
Sounds power related.
Bad mains or a dodgy power supply?
Otherwise MFPB...

But the control panel for the most part is a module on its own so could be that.
Any errors in the history?

Of course updating F/W is a good place to start.

Ok after seeing that, I am with copyman on this. That is just not right, never seen anything like that before.
What is the error recorded in history?

SSD.....

updating FW again (downloaded latest my copy was few months old) fixed it. not sure if bad firmware or bad download but all the CHECKSUMS were correct upon update originally.

turns out this was the 2nd time our team has had this occur with that version of firmware (will confirm version for you on Monday in case it is a bad version but its no longer the latest version so so if you use the updated version u should be fine)

turn HDD off

perfom a "clear all data" and a "system clear". in service mode System 1- Initialization.

Reboot machine.

Then format HDD, reload movie data, will need to set machine defaults as required.

Just had this fault also. If you can get into service mode check error code in counters. Mine was CC00

Please advise if works

Yeah same error

It also has dead network port not sure if related

Tried network clear for that
But I can try a full clear

What firmware you on

I updated to GDH-M1 but still same fault.

All clear fixed it.

Still no network though.

Customer opted for a USB print server and scan to memory stick instead of spending big bucks on MFPB.

I haven't used one of those in years, last on was a parallel HP jet Direct about 10 years ago. PC shop seem surprised I wanted on, had been sitting on shelf since 2012 haha

Just had this occur to me again on a different C364e and another tech in another branch had it occur on a C454e

downgraded to GDF-M1, problem solved.

Had same issue with C284e. Downgraded FW to GDF-M1 and FV7 then Trouble Reset to reactivate Network Port.

Old thread, yes...
Just in case anybody is searching for this issue in the future, see the following thread:

Cause & Solution: Menu Blinking / Flashing and C-CC00 Error in xx4 and xx4e Models (https://www.copytechnet.com/forums/konica-minolta/170537-cause-solution-menu-blinking-flashing-c-cc00-error-xx4-xx4e-models.html)

Hopefully it will help someone else out in the future...
