Good afternoon,

I got a "replace toner" message. I didn't replace immediately and turned off and on a few times to get a few more prints. On my last print, the printer printed some vertical lines margin to margin, top to bottom tightly knit. I've attached an image. Has anyone seen this before. I have since replaced the toner.

well you replaced toner... what are the page counts on drums etc?
did you bother to CLEAN the machine @ time of service?
frankly those marks look like the could be from dev unit or drums...

you really need to supply counts on PM parts and total on machine... what has/hasn't been done...

Agree with Phil. Did you clean the print heads, etc. What are the consumable life counts? Those counts help to make decisions on what to replace. Too expensive for guess work.

Looks like mostly black lines. If drums or dev units are past their life or anywhere near 0% you need to replace. At least black units are a lot less expensive so I would start with black drum and/or dev unit.

I've attached the consumables images. The meter count says 98,945 for black and 173,350 for colour.

Honestly, the only thing I've done regarding servicing is to push the rod in the four slots in the drum section and that's since the lines started showing up.

I printed yellow, black, magenta and blue pages. The only one that the lines don't turn up on is the black. Sometimes there is a rainbow effect with multiple colours going accross the paper. I can't replicate that at the moment.

If you are not a tech.. you need one.
If you ARE one w/ manual
.. you will find procedure in service manual.. could be worn lube bar.. not sure of your machine.. but enuff time in field, these are my suspects.
