Hi - I have a problem with a machine on block colours (not C,M,Y,K) I'm having Yellow/Cyan/Magenta Lines within a block of Grey / Orange / Green etc. I think its related to the drum units. No P-Codes displayed machine on 500k, Cyan and Magenta drum life near end (10%) 41513

Many Thanks -

Clean the grids with the pull out wands and test again. If still no good replace colour drums.

Are you new to this industry?

Run gradation prints for each colour this will point you in the right direction.

Dev units look ok but not enough to see from your sample.

But has the Develop already been replaced at least once? Usually towards 600k

Yeah I'm with Phil I don't get it. The drum with new chip resets count and adjusts / stabilizes automatically. But still should do manual "adjustments" when any consumables are replaced, Gradation adj, etc.

You don't get what? I merely suggested to perform test prints out of SM to identify exactly what IU(s) need to be replaced (which was suggested by copy tech as well). Depending on the situation, and PQ requirements, he might only need to replace 1 IU (as well as clean the PH as suggested).

You guys are confusing the hell out of me lol

His first post was simply suggesting gradation TEST prints and you thought he meant adjustments.
He then corrected you still thought he meant adjustments.
So, that's why the HAHA.
