Are you a tech? If not, take the suggestion from the tech who already answered your question (allan) with a possible solution. If it works, your problem is solved. I never understand people coming here for free advice and then refuting that advice.

Before trying a laser from another machine, I'd first re-secure the memory if it's installed, then re-secure all plugs to all main boards on the machine.

the fact line are diagnal atleast means you can rule out ITBU, ITRU, DR and DV.

Does seem like laser is most likely.

I havent got the manual open atm but it might even have a suggestion in the image defects section

If I did that correctly in Adobe Reader the interval is 108.20mm or 34.44mm diameter roller.

My guess is that might be the diameter of the facing roller inside the primary transfer belt. If I'm correct you should see perforations or texture in the transfer belt. =^..^=

so they are not diagonal?

was this portrait or landscape orientation in tray?

It's A4 ... my guess is SEF based on the color and pattern of dots. =^..^=

Do you have an opinion?

You must know by now that I'm a skeptic. I believe about 10% of what I read. =^..^=

I just find it odd that those who insist on knowing what's been tried then disregard that very information.

I'm a technician
even the laser change didn't work.
