Hi all
I got a C654 the has a image shift issue when printing on thick stock (300gsm so in spec).
Fuser is fine, changed main drive unit (even though no P codes),transfer roller, belt is still new.Adjusted fuser speed up and down but same result.
At first i thought it was the paper but got paper from another customer who also has a C654 and no issues.
Next thing i am going to try is the transport/conveyance unit in the door.
Am i missing something??

Did you try bypass separation roller adjustment, there are two positions.

So the color registration is fine?
Is the shift consistent?

AS ANY GOOD TECH WOULD SAY

do you have a print sample???

hehehe

Clean those rollers and clean them good. Which tray are you feeding from?? The registration roller could be suspect in this case. ive seen bent out of shape entry points could be binding on one side, check those springs which holds the rollers down. one might be worn or came off. i had a few like that. they just pop right off from the shaft.

good luck

IIRC there are specific image registration adjustments based on paper source and media type. In other words you can adjust image registration differently for 300 gsm media or bypass tray, or some combination. =^..^=

Update
The conveyance/registration unit sorted issue out.
