View Full Version : C552 - removal of exit rollers assembly?

Hi guys

i've just installed a new fuser unit. however noticed the rollers above the fuser are dirty or worn.

does anyone have any guidance on out to remove the exit rollers.

ive got the field manual, but nothing in that.

and closest i have found on interwebs is this (although different)

basically i need to do a complete clean of everything lol

well here is the exploded view which can help knowing which screws to take out and where parts fit.
hope this helps.
also i just use alcohol and a scotch-brite for rollers.

thanks, its the reversal unit that im trying to get at to clean.
hard to figure out if this comes out in one piece or not?

Hello,
the procedure is quite long. You must remove the paper exit unit and to do so there are several screws to be removed between the front, rear and the screen of the machine.


I advise you to read the manual for more details.

got the field manual, but cant find the section. can you point me to it?

That is were you wing it. There is a lot of covers coming off to get it out. Plan for 2 hours.
Would take about 20min strip and 20min to clean 30min assemble if you keep at.

There is always another cover in the way..
