So basically, can't enter the service menu, default password not working, dealership claims they haven't changed it.

Next step was reset tool. Machine isn't reacting to inserted drive into maintenance hub.

Any other ways to hard reset it or is my reset tool faulty? Or is there possibly other default pw for 244 other than 9272 x4

Thanks in advance

You can try 12345678 or once in the service mode press " Stop, 0, Clear" This will take you into another service mode from there look for "CE Authentication" There are two choices that have CE in front of them. One allows you to change it and the other to turn it off. You can turn it off so that no password is required. There are two choices that have CE in front of them. One allows you to change it and the other to turn it off. I always turn it off

I'm confused I thought you got to the service screen where it is asking for a P/w?

yeah just escalate the problem to dealer support. provide them with the token key it generates then they will provide you with a password reset key.

Did you try 12345678 or 1234567812345678. Or try 9272 one or 2 times.

I change all my passwords to 12345678, same as the admin.

Most of the time I turn off CE password.

I'm with marvin and rrrohan on this one. First check your thumb drive-not everyone is accepted.
Check Maintenance USB port and lastly contact(if possible) support to get reset code through LMS.

Answer from official dealership is that their USB key isn't working. I actually know the guys that work there and company that has this machine has contract with my company for maintenance.

So you telling us that your company who has contract to maintain the machine and dealership that you asked for help are failing to enter SM. That's is weird, what was your initial problem?

Ask your dealership, they should know their stuff better than that.
Good luck

Good luckThought so as well. Seems like they're terrible, only thing they tried was reset tool that isn't working. I don't have access to KM resources, I guess I'd do much better than them.

some time you can bypass the service code screen if while your at the screen you do something jank and unplug the fax kit. when it throws up a C code error screen just press menu. this got me pass the code screen once purely by accident years ago. then you could just disable the CE authentication.

just keep in mind something wont work with CE authentication. pretty sure remote panel will be disabled from memory
