Hello Techs..

[DISCLAIMER] "I'm an end user turned tech with sensible knowledge."

Earlier I've posted this issue: http://www.copytechnet.com/forums/konica-minolta/138157-bizhub-c224e-unknown-issue.html?138157=#post747660

And finally the new SSD board arrived. I have the service manual & aware of the instructions but I need some advise from you guys, the experienced techs who did ssd replacement.

Can anyone guide me through the steps?

Machine: Bizhub C224e
Last Boot Firmware: G20-M1
SSD Firmware Ver.: 6.05m

Remove rear cover
Replace SSD
Replace rear cover
Load firmware

Remember to switch it off first. :p
There is nothing to backup because that is where the backup goes.

If the machine was still working may be backup authentication info and address book.

Just verify SSD Ver after first startup.

I did these things but the following things are happening.
Power on> shows 2 bars> restarts> shows 4bars> then screen goes black..

Sorry for late update, the machine is working fine now. It was a problem with the firmware. Earlier I was flashing with m0 & m1 firmware but that thing did not worked when I flashed the k9 firmware the machine booted up. I have turned off the hdd from service mode. I have to re-do the calibration.

Thanks everyone for helping.

Also I'm using "Data Administrator" to manage all settings and found it very useful.

Some of you may have used it earlier and some people haven't... please go here: Data Administrator - Utilities - Solution Software | KONICA MINOLTA (https://www.biz.konicaminolta.com/solutions/utilities/dataadministrator.html)

I have a similar problem.
Can you tell me how you did the firmware update? and where to find it?
My bizhub c224e photocopier cannot start up, it reboots and it is impossible to access the touch screen!
In addition, for the past few weeks, it has been impossible to access the copier via the web interface.
Thanks for your help..

Do you have new SSD? Cuz you're gonna need it. Better start your own thread.
