System software should be on dvd because it is about 3.6gb iso image.
I dont really understand what cd you hook over usb...
Hook where?
Explain little bit more understanding
You can reinstall software over crossover cable conected to PC and fiery and second way is directly from usb flash memory to fiery.

Thank you!

Server boots up and works, but strange thing was before i was able to hook a monitor to it, now after the new install the screen just goes blank.

Am I missing something??

Is the FACI Kit on the software or on the server?

Because we used to able to hook a monitor to it unit we reinstalled the software.

its a licensed software that allows you to use the fiery video card (and other stuff but not important right now)
was there a dongle on the fiery? (a usb key that unlocks the function)?

Finally figured it, i logged in into the RIP via remote desktop, and saw the video card driver was missing.

Loaded the driver and then like magic it worked, now i can hook a monitor directly to the RIP.

Thanks all for your help!

nice!
it does not always work that easy, the ATI driver sometimes wont install.
i have 3 of them and converted them to windows 8 file and web servers for home.

i actually didn't think it was going to work, but I thought what the heck let me try..this server had an old intel video card on it..
