Brother MFC 8600

Hi i have a brother mfc 8600, that has a toner out message, does anyone have any idea on how to clear this message, i have had this before with a 7225n and was able to clear it according to the service manual but this one even the manual doesn't say anything, so any ides are welcome.

Check if there's a new toner detection lever at the cartride - and turn it back. But honestly I don't know for shure if that machine does detect new cartridges on this way^^
