I have Pitney Bowes all in one printer model DF270, But it is same as Minolta Pi3502. I want to set up Scan to email. The only setting for the SMTP server is IP address nothing else.

thats when things were simple.
machine is too old to adhere to todays security.
dont waste your time. it will go nowhere.

is this on the printer panel or its web interface.

some KM models only show limited email options on control panel

its a waste of time, back in that machine's era all you needed was the IP address for a local SMTP exchange server or another mail server program.
most people just used pagescope cabinet and scanned to FTP.
but nowadays everything requires authentication, ports, accounts to use etc...
page 55 i think you see there is no entry for any particulars of the SMTP server.
this was the biggest reason folks upgraded. their copiers were obsolete. and so is yours im afraid.
just scan to FTP and email the file as the attachment.
