Is there a problem with Remote Panel and i series?

Ive tried two customers C360i and one in our office. Both give error 13 when trying to connect.

Both running G00-45

Is there a update for remote panel?

Found that latest version as far as I can find is 2.4.0 and that doesnt list any i series under support models

I'm having the same issue. Tried all the usual settings but when using Google to connect I get the message, Cannot start Remote Panel Operations, Please contact the Administrator.
I guessing this is a firmware bug. Going to call national support to see if there are any updates.

I got the issue resolved. Even though we had the current firmware on the machine, I had to go into service mode and perform "Clear All Data" reenter all the settings and now it works.

im surprised that helped you.

Ive now done 5 i series, mix of C3350i and C360i and all do the same thing

What version of Remote Panel Server do you run, we have v2.4.0 and it seems like thats the problem as it doesnt list any i series as a support model?

I cant seem to find any newer version though

Same problem here

On two C4050i I can't even connect the CSRC. And not even the remote panel (advised to delete the security certificate and create a self-certified one. Remember to enable SSL in the Remote Panel in the Security section. When you access the remote panel, remember to add https :) I tried to enable everything, without success. But on one of them I succeeded after having reset the network settings (Web Browser> Admin> Reset Network).
I'm not like it solved. Today I will try to reset also in the second C4050i and I see what is going on.

Im talking about remote panel thats hosted on a server not the one that is connected to via the printers https://IP:50443/panel/remote_panel.cgi (https://192.168.0.34:50443/panel/remote_panel.cgi)

I have since had the update installed running 2.5.2 but still get error 13

Thanks for restarting the thread. I have solved this problem! To solve, go into the printer settings and in the search bar write WebDAV. Three WebDAVs will appear to the left. Now turn off all three and you will see that all communication resumes communicating.

If you don't do this, the iSeries will only connect to the CSRC. If you activate the remote panel (e.g. WWRSPF), the CSRC and all communications will stop working.

With WebDAV disabled I have solved every problem.

At first I didn't think it helped but it just didn't apply. Now works great. Cheers mate

I went crazy for a month for this problem. I had even done Clear All Data and wasted a lot of time during the installations.

I found out after a long investigation on infohub. I'm glad you solved it! On series 8 these flags do not give problems. There are too many flags on iSeries to remember to disable.
