Hi all,

Sorry to make my first post asking for assistance but I've scoured for this info for a long time and you're my best hope.

I have a recurring issue with my Bizhub Press C1070. On some jobs on harder papers(12pt C1S/C2S, 130# Satin, etc.) I will get an image fade on the rear edge of the print. It doesn't happen on every job on harder papers but it only occurs on heavier coated papers. I have not been able to get a definitive answer from my Konica tech on how to fix it other than to mess with the charging and image settings until it gets to an acceptable loss.

That seems to be it.

Adjusted my process adjustment data on that paper profile to:

2nd Transfer-Lead Edge(Front): -50
2nd Transfer-Lead Edge(Back): -50
2nd Transfer-Rear Edge(Front): +50
2nd Transfer-Rear Edge(Back): +50
Separation DC(Front): +10
Separation DC(Back): +10

That has cleared it up so far. Thank you for your help!

Obviously there are all types of settings that can be adjusted for a reason. With such a large variety of paper that can be used it is hard to get one set of parameters that will work with every paper type. That's why the user has to understand how to set it based on their own needs.
