So C253 or C360. Its a printer so i guess they are all the same

Here i googled a bunch of stuff just to check how easy it is indeed.

Where can i send my invoice for the time it took to google?

So could even be the transfer belt, or motor or a clutch or a sensor and then it could always be the control board.

Video will give you an idea where the sensor is located. Its a tricky one to get to the drive gearbox is kinda in the way there.

Best is to use a tonervac with grounded piping to try an clean any toner out of the sensor.

Last one i had was indeed the PRCB board.

So what have you tried so far?

Did you do a sensor check?
If the state still don't change after replacing the sensor with a known good one and you do find that the sensor connector does have 5V to power it then yea the board is not taking the input.
Or there is not 5V coming from the board. Even a pinched with can cause that.
Like i said the previous case on a C220 i had the printer control board was the problem. Not sure if there would be ICP to check as there was too many donor machines at that time.

Long time ago i think i have same error on C203.
It was wire from sensor pinched somewhere to machine body ground.
That time solution was just to repair damaged wire insulation and all ok, no ICP blown.
