Hi guys,

Currently trying to scan to a SMB shared folder on a customers server. The file is being sent to the Shared folder but inside that folder there is PDF File and a text file labelled errorlog.txt

The Contents of the error message is:

d:\iris docs\scans\freda.rashid\SKMBT_C55419091912560.pdf failed : Stage = Process barcodes:Failed to process barcodes : Invalid file format - Error Id = a599ec04-7ba0-4ed2-a049-07fa908f0fe7

Never experienced the scan file being sent over and it creating a folder saying it has error'd ? something new. The error detail on the machine itself is 'Server connection error'.

any help would be appreciated!!

bet they have win10 pc's. known problem with MicroCrap. They have turned off SMB1 support, and have switched to SMB2/3.

IF your copier can handle the smb2 firmware it is a simple fix...

Synth or BlackCat should be able to help with firmware if you are a Contributor to CTN

try dipswitch 162-02

It disable windows routing SMB and start with 2.0

Sounds like Windows feature for SMB1 is disabled from latest M$ updates and this renders machine with older FW versions alone. Try FW update.

I will be visiting the customers on Friday, will let you know how I get on.
