C308 Issues Printing From InDesign

Just wondering if anyone has knowledge on printing from Adobe InDesign? Had a graphic design college contact me with the below issue. The machine was serviced recently and is printing fine otherwise.



The printer has trouble printing when an object in InDesign utilises a clipping mask from Photoshop to produce a transparent background.

A tinted colour fills the whole bounding box of the object creating a visual mess on the printed page.

This is the same if printed directly from InDesign, as well as saving it out to a PDF and printing from acrobat.

I don't know about InDesign, but in CorelDraw sometimes appears something like that, and sending prints to PS instead of PCL printer solved the problem. You may try that. Good Luck!

Thanks Eccelobo, I'll have them check it's running the latest PS driver
