Bizhub C35 Firmware Request

Good Day,

I am having issues getting the Bizhub C35 to send scanned emails using gmail. From what I have read, it looks like a firmware update may be the answer, eitherway, I know I am running a older version of the controller firmware.

I am currently running:

Bizhub C35 Current Firmware Versions:
Boot F/W: A12199G0050000
Controller F/W: A12130G0561505
Engine F/W: A12150G1120000
Panel F/W: A12120G0014805
Scanner F/W: A12123G0040300
Fax F/W: A12140G0012100

ill send you a link to the latest FW on my server because you are a contributor.
this POS machine may not be able to use gmail, there are no bulletins i can see that allow the latest security measures for gmail or office365.
hang tight and check your PMs in a couple minutes.

Just reporting back that scanning and sending through gmail is now working. I have google set to use less secure apps and the following settings on C35 web connection interface. Instead of using smtp.gmail.com, I currently replaced it with the actual IP of 74.125.20.108, I have not tried switching back to smtp.gmail.com to see if it works. I have SSL/TLS set to enabled and Port Number set to 465. SMTP Authentication set to enabled and logging in with username@domain (I would assume if your using just gmail it would be username@gmail.com) and your password. For domain name, I have my domain name set, if your using gmail, I would assume this would be gmail.com. Only other item I have set is server capacity set to 24MB as gmail only allows 25MB attachments.

Hopefully this helps someone else out.

Dear, I having message of missing toner cartridge in 2 units of C35. Will upgrade firmware can help to solve this issue? this error is still there regardless i change another new toner cartridge. The machine is stop and cannot working anymore.

I'll send you a PM with a link to download the firmware files. Do you know how to install the firmware on this model? It's not that same, or as easy, as the larger MFPs. I didn't look at previous messages in this thread, so don't know if it's in a previous reply or not.

It would have been nice to have had some sort of confirmation or a Thank You so that I know you did in fact get it. I'll be pulling the firmware down from my cloud storage tomorrow so if you didn't grab it yet, you best get on it!

Firmware was received and thank you for your lightning fast response on it! It was much appreciated. No problem updating, just wish Konica had more substantive fixes- Was hoping they would have patched the TLS encryption version so I could use my secure email server instead of gmail with compromised settings.. with business class machines though, I guess they just assume people will re-lease newer models.

- (even at 150dpi it is slow) the resolution is 300dpi color and no is not "compact pdf" and the Ethernet Settings is set to 1000Base-T (Full) so there are no problems there. i know c35 have a 800mhz cpu and it's not "comparable" with bizhub C253...... still 5 minutes for 10 pages full of text with one color stamp.

I'm getting nuts with Scan to Email.
Gmail works, but my internal server do not work, but setting are correct and verified with an email client.

FW update I hope to be the fix.

Is there anyway to check exactly what auth error the printer has with my hosted SMTP server?
