Hello all . I have a Bizhub 363 copier that has the following problem ... when making copies of the adf everything is ok. But when I put the original on the window I get a big black stain, more precisely if I put an original A3, the copy is covered by the black stain in a proportion of 70%. From the equipment or printing is also ok. I am sure that the problem is from a scanner unit but nothing is seen that will attract my attention. If anyone has any idea what I could do I would be deeply grateful. Thanks

check the scanner mirrors and cables and the side rails of the scanner.
you can also lift the near left corner of the scanner bed and make the same copy, ive seen the frame bent down from someone leaning on the scanner or putting something heavy on it like a case of paper.

I made this deduction ... I pulled up and made a copy ... I left on the right corner and made a copy. The result is the same and changes randomly if I push or pull the corner.

One of the mirrors is out of place. Was the machine transported or moved recently?

There's a lot more to focus than just a tweaked scanner frame. =^..^=

thanks for the answer ... I looked very carefully at all the mirrors and they are all perfect and in their place ... yes ... it was moved recently but I repeat that nothing suspicious is seen

If it happen after being transported then it's definitely something with the optics getting banged around while moving. Also have seen people strap it down on top pushing down front left corner where there is no support. Or putting one hand under that UN-supoported corner while lifting.

Those mirrors may look in place but only need to be off a little off to cause that issue. Even mirror out of place 1/16 inch could cause your issue. make sure all the clips that hold mirror are there and tight.

Make sure all the mirrors are actually clicked down even though the mirror looks like it's in the right place one side of it could be lifted up slightly causing the issue take off the Platinum glass and pushed down into the holders of all those mirrors so the bottom edge of the mirror is resting against the bottom edge of its

visual inspection won't always catch mirror out of alignment. Have you watched the mirrors as they move down the rails? how many copies has that adf made? have you kept proper maint on it? are the cables/belts saggy/worn?
I've restrung cables on quite a few copiers... and it is NO walk in the park. Most require a mirror jig to properly align.

if it is a matter of lifting or pressing a corner of the adf.. you have to re-adjust the hinges on the adf. this too can be a PIA
