HI
I normally only do ricohs but a good accnt asked me to pop in a fuser unit and "main charge unit too".
I had time to look at it but didnt change it as it was still working wth scuffed fuser rollers and i didnt want to force that rear side black release after pulling out the 2 set screws..
Is there something I should know b4 going back?
IS the charge unit just a pop in corona unit?
THANKS IN ADVANCE

Fuser has 2 screws holding the unit in (front, rear) and a black cover for the connectors with 1 screw holding that in. Unplug the two connectors and pull the unit out then install the new unit.

The charge roller just slides into the drum unit. Don't even need to take the drum unit out.

Maint Mode 930 to reset the charge roller counter.
Maint Mode 167 to reset fuser counter.

is the black cover near the screws?
Are these pretty solid machines?
The only kyoceras i did in the past were some 40cpm printers .

If it's still there, it's just a cover for the wiring and has 1 small screw to hold it in place. Right above the rear end of the fuser unit.
