View Full Version : cannot turn off separate scan when using glass

Gentlemen.

Customer was getting strange service codes. I upgraded the firmware. Fixed that problem. According to the customer before the upgrade, they could put the document on the glass, push start and it would copy. I made sure the separate scan was turned off when using glass. No good. I checked the pdf for the firmware about my issue. Nothing. I looked through service manual at soft switch settings. Nothing. Anyone run across this before?

Did you reboot the machine? some settings changes machines need to reboot in order for the new settings to take to take.

Are you sure that "SORT" is not on???

Sort is on. It has a finisher. I did turn that on recently. It was defaulted to group and non sort. Customer wanted it to sort as a default. I'll turn it off and see what happens.

Hi, are you sure you haven't installed a special firmware? Do you remember the version?


Also, manually it is not possible to remove the flag?

Hello Gentlemen

It was the sort function the was causing the problem. I put it on autosort and the problem is fixed. Thanks guys.
