Hello,

I want to print on a Konica Minolta Bizhub C554e from the app Preview on my MacBook using the option to staple my printed sheets. The problem is that I can't activate the option to staple my printed sheets. The error message is that it results in a conflict as soon as I activate "Staple" (no matter which option I choose for stapling). Does anybody have an idea why this doesn't work?

My guess would be that stapling is not compatible with the option binding. The problem is I can't deactivate binding on Mac (I can only choose the binding position). Am I missing something?

If I print from Adobe Acrobat the menu looks a bit different but the problem is the same as in Preview.
If I print from a Windows PC it's no problem to active the staple option.

Versions: macOS 10.14.6, printer driver 5.4.0 (latest version available)

Thank you!

Best regards
Mark

I not sure exactly how you do this on a MAC, but it sounds as though you need to configure the driver to show that the finisher is available. =^..^=

You're right, the finisher has to be activated, now it works! :)

macOS: System Preferences > Printer & Scanners > choose printer > options

Thank you!

This is common user mistake that even experienced techs fall in that trap, I'm not saying that I'm experienced with KM, but with Toshibas I was ;)
