Scanner File Utility

anybody used this on a server 2003 64bit or server 2008?
i installed it on 2003 server 64bit but could not get it to work. any ideas?

As far as i know that is only a 32bit app. What model machine you using it on? Why not just activate SMB? or do they have to use the file utility?
